Initial Assessment**

1hr appointment + comprehensive report
An initial assessment is necessary to comprehensively assess your communication and/or swallowing impairment. During this appointment, a comprehensive case history will be taken and relevant assessments completed. This enables us to gain a better understanding of your diagnosis, your personal goals for therapy and together, formulate a treatment plan. A comprehensive report will be sent to your referring Doctor.

Standard Consultation**

1hr appointment
A standard consultation will likely be recommended for a therapy session. It may also be necessary for more complex clinical conditions or if education to family members/significant others or support workers is required.

Review Consultation**

30 minute appointment
A review consultation will likely be recommended if KNSP simply need to review your progress with an established therapy plan. KNSP will advise whether a review or standard consultation is necessary to best meet your needs.

Videofluoroscopy Swallow Study

Study (allow 40 minutes) + comprehensive report
A VFSS will be conducted at Queensland X-Ray at the Gold Coast Private Hospital.
Queensland X-Ray is located on the ground floor of the hospital at
14 Hill Street in Southport. There is onsite paid parking and 2hr street parking
available. The tram stop is a 2 minute walk.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.

All fees are payable in full at time of service.
KNSP offers a 5% discount off the service fee for pensioners and seniors card holders who are self funded and ineligible for any other rebates.
